ROIC Performance Threshold Clause Samples

The ROIC Performance Threshold clause sets a minimum required level of Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) that must be achieved for certain contractual benefits, such as incentive payments or performance-based compensation, to be triggered. Typically, this clause outlines the specific ROIC percentage that serves as the benchmark and details the measurement period and calculation method. By establishing a clear financial performance target, the clause ensures that rewards are only granted when the company meets or exceeds a defined standard of capital efficiency, thereby aligning incentives with value creation and protecting against underperformance.
