Common use of Role of Union Clause in Contracts

Role of Union. In the event that any employees of the Employer who are covered under the terms of this Agreement engage in any action in violation of this Article, the Union shall order said employees to cease and desist from said action immediately, and in good faith shall use its best efforts, to the full extent of its power to bring such unlawful action to a stop. Should the Union and its affiliates carry out said obligation, but the violation of this Article nonetheless continues, the Union and its affiliates shall be relieved of liability for such action(s).
