This can be achieved by organising various activities to raise awareness and capacity building; d) to promote culture by disseminating information on traditional arts, handicrafts, intangible cultural heritages, music, dance, drama, movies and languages of ASEAN and China; e) to facilitate educational exchanges and cooperation between both sides, including through the China­ ASEAN Education Cooperation Week (CAECW), and support for student exchanges and activities for ASEAN students studying in China; f) to introduce and publicise products, industries and investment opportunities, tourism resources, culture and educational opportunities of ASEAN and China to a wider audience, including the private sector and the population at large by providing consultations, educational advisory services, as well as organising trade and investment exhibitions, tourism fairs, food festivals, art exhibitions and educational exhibition fairs; g) to collaborate with the private sector and appropriate partners to identify potential markets and areas of cooperation; h) to manage the permanent ASEAN Trade, Investment and Tourism Exhibition Hall within the framework of the Centre; i) to serve as an investment promotio...

  • Authorized Activities In carrying out the purposes of the Partnership, but subject to all other provisions of this Agreement, the Partnership is authorized to engage in any kind of lawful activity, and perform and carry out contracts of any kind, necessary or advisable in connection with the accomplishment of the purposes and business of the Partnership described herein and for the protection and benefit of the Partnership; provided that the General Partner shall not be obligated to cause the Partnership to take, or refraining from taking, any action which, in the judgment of the General Partner, (i) could adversely affect the ability of the General Partner to qualify and continue to qualify as a REIT, (ii) could subject the General Partner to additional taxes under Code Section 857 or 4981 or (iii) could violate any law or regulation of any governmental body or agency having jurisdiction over the General Partner or its securities.

  • Activities Except with the prior written consent of the Board, Executive will not during his employment with the Company undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise, other than ones in which Executive is a passive investor. Executive may engage in civic and not-for-profit activities so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of his duties hereunder.
