RSC/Department Committees. Employees and managers not working in health centers can call for ad hoc department committees as a work group with the aim of creating a collaborative space for shared decision making and to discuss, but not be limited to: schedule flexibility in their department, changes in department operations, changes in department hours. Discussions on these matters will include an analysis of impact on the team as a whole, patient access, financial impacts, utilization of the equity lens, and needs of the department employees. RSC/Department committees may also discuss department-specific staffing levels, vacant positions, plans to fill and anticipated timelines to fill vacant positions, staffing plan, if any, until vacant positions are filled. Such committees also may review and assess staffing and safety concerns, overtime usage, and missed breaks or meals, and alternative schedules. a. The group will consist of the director/manager/supervisor, a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, and represented employees, the amount of whom are mutually agreeable. b. Representation in the committee is voluntary and will be compensated per 8.6 as an extension of LMC. c. The committee will report to the Labor-Management committee their discussions, metrics, and work at mutually agreeable timing. d. Questions regarding outcomes, implementation of discussion, or next steps can be referred to LMC for guidance. e. This body will meet as necessary and scheduled by mutual agreement.
