Common use of Rules and Interpretations Clause in Contracts

Rules and Interpretations. This is to confirm that the following rules and interpretations shall be used in applying certain sections of the Agreement effective January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2011. (1) No Employee shall receive more than two shifts' pay in addition to regular pay in respect of any recognized holiday on which he/she works. (2) In order that some regular full- time Employees scheduled to work on a recognized holiday may take this day off as a "beg off", regular part-time Employees may be employed.
