Rules of Construction and Miscellaneous Terms. (a) The singular includes the plural; the masculine gender includes the feminine; "shall" is mandatory; "may is permissive. (b) If a part of this Agreement is held to be invalid, the remainder of the Agreement is not affected. (c) This writing contains in full, the final and exclusive Agreement between the parties. (d) The time limits set forth in this Agreement may be extended by mutual consent of the parties.
