Safety and Health Program. Employees who reasonably and justifiably believe that their safety and health are in danger due to an alleged unsafe working condition, equipment or vehicle, shall immediately inform their non-bargaining unit supervisor who shall have the responsibility to determine what action, if any, should be taken, including whether or not the job assignment should be discontinued. The Employer will maintain a Safety and Health Policy that will serve to protect employees from occupational safety and health hazards through the development of systematic policies, procedures, and practices. The program will seek to identify, evaluate and reduce general workplace hazards, specific job hazards and potential hazards that may arise from work activities. Specific programs may include but not be limited to: personal protective equipment, blood borne pathogens, hazard communication, electrical safety, and confined space entry.
