Safety and Security Certification. Special Provisions (a) The purpose of the safety and security certification is to ensure that : (b) 1. The objective is to achieve an acceptable level of risk through a systematic approach to safety hazard and security vulnerability management, design criteria adherence, specification and construction compliance, and testing and commissioning verification.
