Common use of Salary Increment Clause in Contracts

Salary Increment. A salary increment shall be paid at the rate of $10,150 per year to be divided among all bargaining unit attorneys which shall not be part of the base salary. All bargaining unit attorneys will be assigned the specialized assignments. Payment will be made as a lump sum payment during the first pay period in December of each year. In order to receive the payment, an attorney must be employed at the time of the payment, not be on probation, and have at least one year of seniority. Attorneys who leave employment during the year are not entitled to receive the payment. If an attorney is not eligible for the payment, the payment will be divided among the eligible attorneys.
