Salary Schedules and Hourly Rates. 1. All Bargaining Unit members shall be paid on the first day of each month in ten (10) cycles (October 1 through July 1 when calendar begins in September) and in eleven (11) cycles (September 1 through July 1 when calendar begins in August) with the following exceptions: a. Support Personnel in accordance with Article V. Section I. b. Bargaining Unit Members who were on a twelve (12) month cycle June 30, 2010. 2. All Bargaining Unit Members shall have the option of direct deposit of warrants. Bargaining Unit members who do not opt for direct deposit will have the option of having their warrants mailed or available for pickup at an alternate site designated by the District.
Salary Schedules and Hourly Rates a. For the 2005-2006 school year salary schedules A, E, F, G, III A 1a, III A 1b, III B and L will receive five tenths (.5%) percent ongoing salary schedule increase. b. Also for the 2005-2006 school year, the formula described below shall determine additional increases not to exceed five and five tenths (5.5%) percent. (1) The schedules shall be increased by five tenths (.5%) for every one (1%) percent base increase (calculated to the nearest tenth of one percent over the 2004-2005 funded revenue limit before deficit in accordance to the formula described below: i. Funded base revenue limit COLA percentage increase before deficit, and; ii. Deficit factor reduction percentage decrease received by the District, and iii. All other unrestricted ongoing increases to the revenue limit and/or increased ongoing increases to the revenue limit and/or increased ongoing Unrestricted General Fund revenue; (2) In the event that the District is required to increase the current employer contribution to STRS in 2005-2006 (or other statutory adjustment that effect STRS employer costs) the estimated Unrestricted General Fund cost increase shall be reduced by half of the equivalent percent. (3) The final calculation of the formula above shall subtract the five tenths (.5%) percent described in 2.a. above. In no case shall the final calculation yield less than a point five (.5%) percent increase. c. Increases to schedules A, E, F, G, IIIA 1a, III A 1B, III B and L more than five and five tenths(5.5%) percent (calculated to the nearest tenth of one percent over the 2004-2005 funded base revenue limit before deficit) shall be calculated at a rate of three tenths (.3%) percent for each additional one (1%) percent of additional new ongoing unrestricted revenue. d. The increases to schedules A, E, F, G. III A 1a, III A 1b, III B and L shall be implemented no later than forty-five (45) days following the Governor’s signing of the State budget. Retroactive increases shall be paid no later than sixty (60) days after the Governor’s signing of the State budget.

  • Salary Schedule Placement College Training A. Unit members qualifying for the “Entry Level Salary” shall remain at this level until they met the minimum requirements for placement on any other salary column (1-4). Upon verification of documentation qualifying unit members for placement upon any other salary column (1-4), the unit member shall then be placed upon the appropriate step on that salary column in accordance with his/her length of service. B. School Nurses who have a Bachelor’s degree, qualify for crediting of previous experience, but have not completed 30 semester units after the Bachelor’s degree or the appropriate clear credential, shall be exempt from placement at “Entry Level Salary”; shall instead, be placed on Column 1; and shall advance on the salary schedule in accordance with the Agreement for unit members. C. Unit members placed on “COLUMN 1” of the Salary Schedules by the agreement (Appendix C1) between the Association and the District shall advance on the schedule in accordance with that agreement (Appendix C1). D. All college or university credits which will qualify a unit member for a new salary placement must be verified by official college or university transcripts in order to justify a contract revision. Such college or university credits must be obtained from an institution of higher learning which is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges or other recognized accreditation organization. Salary revision shall be effective following District approval (as stipulated by this Article) of the necessary credits for column advancement. E. The unit requirement for each salary column is stated in semester hours of credit; quarter hour credits can be converted into semester hours by multiplying 2/3. F. For salary schedule purposes, only semester units earned after the completion of the Bachelor’s Degree shall be considered. G. Credit will not be granted for any course for which less than a "C" grade is earned. H. Unit members shall not enroll in courses which conflict with the work day. I. A major teaching field is considered to be 36 semester hours (12 of which must be upper division or graduate), a minor teaching field is considered to be 20 semester hours (8 of which must be upper division or graduate). J. Repeat credit may be granted for a course taken at an accredited institution in which the content field has recently undergone substantial change or, in the case of a course originally taken many years ago, an updating of study is desirable. K. Course work, for salary credit must be upper division, graduate level, or transferable* lower division courses, taken at an accredited college or university, and must conform to one or more of the following guidelines: 1. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to the teaching/work assignment. 2. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to a person’s major or minor. For unit members in a self-contained classroom program; a subject commonly taught in the elementary school. For unit members in a departmentalized classroom program; courses in an additional major or minor. 3. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to an advanced degree in professional education or in a subject related to the teaching/work assignment. 4. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to a credential or certificate authorized by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. 5. Units may be taken in a Board authorized, District sponsored, professional activity. Credit equivalent will be adopted at the time of such Board action. *A transferable lower division course is a lower division course taken at an accredited college or university that is acceptable for baccalaureate graduation credit at another accredited college or university. L. The submission of transcripts for columnar advancement of the salary schedule is limited to two (2) submission dates per school year. Additional units may be banked for future salary schedule advancement. M. Transcripts for completed units must be submitted to the Human Resources Division no later than the first of September or February for salary adjustment. Adjustment for qualifying units submitted no later than the first of September will be retroactively made effective on the first work day of the school year. Adjustment for qualifying units submitted no later than the first of February will be retroactively made effective on the first work day of the calendar year.

  • Hourly Rate (A) The amounts shall be computed by multiplying the appropriate hourly rates prescribed in the Agreement by the number of direct labor hours (DLH) performed. Fractional parts of an hour shall be payable on a prorated basis. The hourly rates shall include wages, indirect costs, general and administrative expenses, and profit. (B) Hourly rate means the rate(s) specified in the Agreement for payment for labor that meets the labor category qualifications of a labor category specified in the Agreement that are performed by the Seller, performed by the subcontractors, or transferred between divisions, subsidiaries, or affiliates of the Seller under a common control. (C) Labor hours incurred to perform tasks for which labor qualifications were specified in the Agreement will not be paid to the extent the work is performed by individuals that do not meet the specified qualification. (D) Seller shall substantiate invoices (including any subcontractor hours reimbursed at the hourly rate in the Agreement) by evidence of actual payment and by individual daily job timecards, records that verify the employees meet the qualifications for the labor categories specified in the Agreement, or other substantiation approved by Company. (E) Unless otherwise prescribed in this Agreement, Company may withhold five percent of the amounts due under this paragraph, with the total amount withheld not to exceed $50,000. The amounts withheld shall be retained until the execution and delivery of a release by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ as provided below. (F) Unless this Agreement prescribes otherwise, hourly rates shall not be varied by virtue of Seller having performed work on an overtime basis. If overtime rates are provided, the premium portion will be reimbursable only to the extent the overtime is approved by Company.
