Common use of Salary Support Clause in Contracts

Salary Support. 2.1 The ARC will provide salary at the levels in Table 1 below each year for 4 years. Level B or below Level 1 (1.0 FTE) $163,598 per annum (2021$) including 30% on-costs. Level C Level 2 (1.0 FTE) $198,042 per annum (2021$) including 30% on-costs. Level D or above Level 3 (1.0 FTE) $232,481 per annum (2021$) including 30% on-costs. 2.2 The salary figures in this section are based on the 2021 price levels of funding and will be subject to variation (for example, due to annual indexation). Updated levels will be available on the ‘Salaries and Stipends’ page of the ARC website. 2.3 Salary funding for the Fellow includes a 30% loading to cover salary-related on-costs, including payroll tax, workers compensation, leave loading, long-service leave, non- contributory and contributory superannuation, but it excludes items such as extended leave and severance pay. On-costs that exceed 30% and other costs (such as costs associated with or incurred as a result of extended leave and severance pay) must be met by You.
