Salary Withhold. In the event of a general salary increase in the local salary schedule, or for regularly scheduled increments, either the amount of the general increase or the scheduled increment or both may be withheld if a teacher has received an evaluation rating of “Developing/Below Professional Standards” or “Ineffective/Unsatisfactory” if the withholding is recommended by the Superintendent of Schools. Such withhold shall be considered a disciplinary matter and subject to the grievance procedure.

(D) Deduction in a salaried employee's salary may be made for the initial or terminal week of the salaried employee if the salaried employee fails to work the entire workweek.

  • Salary Payments Salaries shall be paid fortnightly by direct credit to the employee’s nominated bank account except that individual employees may on religious or ethical grounds apply in writing to the Secretary for Education to be paid by cheque.
