Sale, Lease, etc. of Collateral Sample Clauses

The "Sale, Lease, etc. of Collateral" clause defines the rights and restrictions regarding the disposition of collateral that secures a loan or obligation. It typically outlines whether and under what conditions the borrower may sell, lease, transfer, or otherwise dispose of the collateral without the lender's prior consent. For example, the clause may prohibit any sale or lease of the collateral unless the lender agrees in writing, or it may allow certain transactions if the proceeds are used to pay down the secured debt. This clause's core function is to protect the lender's security interest by preventing unauthorized actions that could diminish the value or availability of the collateral.
