Salinity Meeting Groups Forum. The Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Forum was created by the seven Colorado River Basin states in 1973 to act as a common voice for the states on salinity matters and to coordinate with federal agencies in the implementation of the Program. Forum membership consists of up to three appointees by each of the governors of the Colorado River Basin states and includes water quantity and water quality agency leads and representatives from major water user organizations. Forum meets twice a year and locations of meetings are rotated through all seven basin states. There are up to three (3) designees from each state. Some designees are also on the Forum, or often are state employees in positions having to do with water quality, environmental issues, or agricultural concerns. Representatives from the Federal agencies attend Work Group meetings. The Work Group meets 5 times per year. Two of the meetings are at the same location and week of the Forum meetings. The remaining 3 meetings are either held in Salt Lake City, UT or one of the Basin States. The Advisory Council (Council) was created by the Salinity Control Act. Council membership consists of up to three appointees by each of the governors of the Colorado River Basin states, usually the same appointees as to the Forum. The Council is directed by the Designated Federal Officer (DFO) and operates under FACA rules. The DFO is Reclamation’s Salinity Control Program Manager. The Council meets twice a year at the same location and week of the Forum meetings. The TAG is a subcommittee of the Council. Representatives, one from each basin state, are designated by the Council. The TAG meets 2-3 times per year at the same time as Forum and/or Work Group meetings. Science Team is made up of representatives from Reclamation, USDA-NRCS, USGS, FWLS, BLM along with the Work Group chairperson, and the executive director from the Forum. The Science Team meets twice a year, usually in Salt Lake City, UT.

  • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.

  • Faculty Meetings Principals shall have the authority to schedule necessary faculty meetings; however, such meetings shall be as brief and well planned as possible. Such meetings shall be used for purposes that cannot be accomplished effectively through other means. Faculty meetings shall be scheduled in a manner that impacts teacher planning time to the least degree possible. If more than one faculty meeting is held in a month, the purpose of the meeting shall be announced to the faculty in advance.

  • Meeting of all Members If all of the Members shall meet at any time and place, either within or without the State, and consent to the holding of a meeting, such meeting shall be valid without call or notice, and at such meeting any corporate action may be taken.

  • Final Meeting The goal of this subtask is to complete the closeout of this Agreement. • Meet with Energy Commission staff to present project findings, conclusions, and recommendations. The final meeting must be completed during the closeout of this Agreement. This meeting will be attended by the Recipient and CAM, at a minimum. The meeting may occur in person or by electronic conferencing (e.g., WebEx), with approval of the CAM. The technical and administrative aspects of Agreement closeout will be discussed at the meeting, which may be divided into two separate meetings at the CAM’s discretion. o The technical portion of the meeting will involve the presentation of findings, conclusions, and recommended next steps (if any) for the Agreement. The CAM will determine the appropriate meeting participants. o The administrative portion of the meeting will involve a discussion with the CAM and the CAO of the following Agreement closeout items:  Disposition of any state-owned equipment.  Need to file a Uniform Commercial Code Financing Statement (Form UCC-1) regarding the Energy Commission’s interest in patented technology.  The Energy Commission’s request for specific “generated” data (not already provided in Agreement products).  Need to document the Recipient’s disclosure of “subject inventions” developed under the Agreement.  “Surviving” Agreement provisions such as repayment provisions and confidential products.  Final invoicing and release of retention. • Prepare a Final Meeting Agreement Summary that documents any agreement made between the Recipient and Commission staff during the meeting.

  • Grievance Meetings Where operational requirements permit, and on reasonable notice, the Employer shall grant special leave with pay to an Employee for the purpose of attending grievance meetings with the Employer.
