Salt solution. 3.1. The salt solution shall be prepared by dissolving 5 ± 1 parts by mass of sodium chloride in 95 parts of distilled water. The salt shall be sodium chloride substantially free of nickel and copper and containing not more than 0.1 per cent of sodium iodide and not more than 0.3 per cent of total impurities in the dry state. 3.2. The solution shall be such that, when atomized at 35°C, the collected solution is in the pH range of 6.5 to 7.2.
