Satisfactory Evidence of Active Membership. Employees may use Duty Time and Agency equipment and supplies to obtain evidence of active membership. Satisfactory evidence of active membership includes, but is not limited to, a photocopy of an employee's bar card showing that the employee is an active member, a photocopy of the pertinent page from the bar's website showing that the employee is an active member, or a letter or certificate from the bar stating that the employee is an active member. If there is a disagreement between an employee and the Agency regarding the provision of satisfactory evidence of active membership, the matter shall be referred to the Designated Agency Management Official and the Union President for resolution.
