Scale of Compensation Sample Clauses

The "Scale of Compensation" clause defines the method and criteria for calculating the amount of compensation payable in the event of a loss, damage, or breach under a contract. Typically, this clause outlines a predetermined schedule or formula that specifies compensation amounts based on the severity or type of incident, such as a percentage of contract value or fixed sums for specific breaches. By establishing clear and objective measures for compensation, this clause ensures predictability and fairness, reducing disputes over the appropriate amount to be paid and streamlining the resolution process.
