Scheduled Appointments. At the time an appointment is scheduled for a deaf or hard-of-hearing Customer or Companion, DCF Personnel shall determine which appropriate auxiliary aids and services are necessary to ensure effective communication, as well as the timing, duration, and frequency with which they will be provided, in consultation with the Customer or Companion as detailed in Section G.2. DCF Personnel shall perform a Communication Assessment as part of each initial Communication Assessment.
