Scheduling of Orientation. The district shall provide at least 10 days written notice of the date, time, and location to the Association of the scheduled group orientation for new unit members and, during this orientation, permit the Association a minimum of 45 minutes to address the new unit members. This information will be provided by certified or electronic mail, to the Association president and vice president. The district shall provide shall provide 10 calendar days’ notice to the Association of any mid-year orientation for new unit members and, during this orientation, provide the unit member the Association benefits packet and contact information. The Association is entitled to invite vendors and CTA staff to the Association portion of new bargaining unit member orientations/onboarding meetings and will have access to District audio visual equipment for Association presentations.
