SCOPE AND DURATION OF AGREEMENT. Section 23.1 This Agreement may be modified or amended during its term upon the mutual consent and written agreement of the Town and the Union to enter into negotiations to modify or amend this Agreement. Section 23.2 This Agreement is the result of negotiations between the parties covering the entire field of collective bargaining and satisfies their obligations, under all laws requiring them to bargain, for the duration of this Agreement. This Agreement shall be in full force and effect as of January 1, 2014 and shall expire on December 31, 2017. If neither party serves written notice to the other party ninety (90) days prior to the day of expiration of this Agreement, it shall automatically continue from year to year, until such notice is given.
