Common use of Scope and Roles Clause in Contracts

Scope and Roles. This DPA applies when Personal Data is Processed by Unique strictly on behalf of Customer, as part of Unique’s provision of the Service. In this context and for the purposes of the GDPR or any similar Data Protection Laws, Customer is the data Controller and Unique is the data Processor; and for the purposes of the CCPA, Customer is the Business and Unique is the Service Provider.
