Common use of Scope of Franchise Clause in Contracts

The grant of this Franchise shall extend to all areas of the City as it is now or hereafter constituted that are within the Company’s PUC-certificated service territory; however, nothing contained in this Franchise shall be construed to authorize the Company to engage in activities other than the provision of Utility Service.
