Common use of Scope of the Convention Clause in Contracts

Scope of the Convention. 22.1 This Convention shall apply principally to GEOVIC, and to any Person to which GEOVIC may assign all or part of the rights and obligations granted to it under the conditions of this Convention 22.2 The Shareholders, the Affiliates, the Contractors, the Sub-Contractors, the Shippers and Lenders and other Third Party Beneficiaries shall benefit from the rights and guarantees granted to them, respectively, under this Convention, with respect to activities related to the mining and processing of the Minerals and to production of the Product in Cameroon. 22.3 The suspension of rights and benefits granted to GEOVIC by this Convention, in application of the terms hereof, shall as of right entail suspension under the same conditions of the extension to the Third Party Beneficiaries of the same rights and benefits.
