Scope of Work, Responsibilities and Description of the proposed analytical work 1. Review, analyze and update if needed, the identified gaps which may be hindering the effective implementation of the land use planning process so as to avoid insensitive infrastructure development, conversion of productive lands, poor range and farmland management practices, and encroachment on natural ecosystems especially forests (Gaps identified under the UNDP/SLMQ project, and will be shared with the consultant) 2. Review, analyze and update when necessary the needed clarifications of current planning, permitting and licensing procedures and provide recommendations on removing any regulatory barriers (clarifications prepared under the UNDP/SLMQ project, and will be shared with the consultant). 3. Assess appropriate policy and monetary incentives and disincentives, and recommendations on improving the management of the bond/guarantee system in the case of quarries, and considering levies and royalties, fines and penalties as a control mechanism. 4. Identify the respective roles and responsibilities for compliance monitoring, enforcement and prosecution as necessary. 5. Provide a training concept for the various levels of the legal/judicial system tackling urban planning legislation, tourism, quarrying and natural resources management, in particular based on identified gaps and bottlenecks encountered in legal and administrative practices (rulings, administrative procedures, etc). 6. Draft training materials in line with the approved concept (training sessions and lesson plans, seminar presentations, roundtable, etc. depending on audience) and deliver them as needed (minimum of 6 sessions). 7. Support the Project Team as needed in the drafting of updates of legal texts mostly in the form of decisions and decrees related to natural resources management, quarrying, urban planning and tourism. 8. Provide legal advice and analysis on land use planning process, conversion of productive lands, poor range and farmland management practices, and encroachment on natural ecosystems especially forests, environmental protection and related matters based on the needs of the project
Scope of Work, Responsibilities and Description of the Proposed Analytical Work On the basis of outcomes of the context-assessment, Lebanon will formulate and submit to UNDP Lebanon’s Low Emission Capacity Building Project proposal. Under the overall guidance of the Climate Change Project Manager at the Ministry of Environment and the UNDP CO Focal Point for Environment & Energy, the National Consultant (acting in his/her individual capacity) will be tasked with the following duties and responsibilities:

  • SCOPE OF WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Interconnection Customer’s Scope of Work and Responsibilities

  • Specific Responsibilities Without limiting the responsibilities of the Manager, the Manager will: 1. Maintain office facilities (which may be in the offices of the Manager or a corporate affiliate but shall be in such location as the Trust reasonably determines). 2. Furnish statistical and research data, clerical services and stationery and office supplies. 3. Compile data for, prepare for execution by the Fund and file all the Fund’s federal and state tax returns and required tax filings other than those required by this Agreement to be made by the Fund’s custodian and transfer agent. 4. Prepare compliance filings pursuant to state securities laws with the advice of the Trust’s counsel. 5. Prepare the Trust’s Annual and Semi-Annual Reports to Shareholders and amendments to its Registration Statements (on Form N-1A or any replacement therefor). 6. Compile data for, prepare and file timely Notices to the SEC required pursuant to Rule 24f-2 under the 1940 Act. 7. Determine the daily pricing of the portfolio securities and computation of the net asset value and the net income of Fund in accordance with the Prospectus, resolutions of the Trust’s Board of Trustees, and the procedures set forth in EXHIBIT A: NET ASSET VALUE CALCULATIONS. 8. Keep and maintain the financial accounts and records of the Fund and provide the Trust with certain reports, as needed or requested by the Fund. 9. Provide officers for the Trust as requested by the Trust’s Board of Trustees. 10. Perform fund accounting services for the Fund as set forth in EXHIBIT B: FUND ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS. 11. Generally assist in all aspects of the operations of the Fund.

  • Contractor Responsibilities A. The Contractor shall comply with the reporting requirements of Agency. All reports shall be in writing and, when applicable, in the format specified by the Agency. All reports shall be supported by the Contractor’s records. B. Contractor shall cooperate with the Agency in establishing rate for reimbursement purposes. C. Contractor shall transfer a client from one category of care or service to another only with the written approval of the Agency. D. If the Contractor obtains services for any part of this contract from another vendor, the Contractor is responsible for the fulfillment of the terms of the contract and shall give written notification of such to the Agency for approval.

  • Customer Responsibilities Notwithstanding the above, Customer agrees that except as provided by this DPA, Customer is responsible for its secure use of the Services, including securing its account authentication credentials, protecting the security of Customer Data when in transit to and from the Services and taking any appropriate steps to securely encrypt or backup any Customer Data uploaded to the Services.
