Scope, Responsibilities, and Services of Bridging Architect. 1.1. Bridging Architect shall render the Services as described in Exhibit A, commencing with receipt of a written Notice to Proceed signed by the District representative. Bridging Architect’s Services will be completed in accordance with the schedule attached as Exhibit C. 1.2. Bridging Architect recognizes that the District may obtain the services of a construction manager for this Project. The construction manager, if any, would be authorized to give Bridging Architect Services authorizations, and issue written approvals and Notices to Proceed on behalf of District. The District reserves the right to designate a different construction manager at any time. Any task, including, but not limited to, reviews or approvals that the District may perform pursuant to this Agreement may be performed by the construction manager, unless that task indicates it shall be performed by the governing board of the District. 1.3. Bridging Architect shall provide Services that comply with professional standards and applicable requirements of federal, state, and local law including, without limitation: 1.3.1. Uniform Building Code, latest addition, and the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, including amendments. 1.3.2. Regulations of the State Fire ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ (title 19, California Code of Regulations) and Pertinent Local Fire Safety Codes. 1.3.3. Americans with Disabilities Act. 1.3.4. Education Code of the State of California. 1.3.5. Government Code of the State of California. 1.3.6. Labor Code of the State of California, division 2, part 7, Public Works and Public Agencies. 1.3.7. Public Contract Code of the State of California. 1.3.8. U. S. Copyright Act. 1.4. Bridging Architect shall contract for or employ at Bridging Architect’s expense, Consultant(s) to the extent deemed necessary for completion of its Services on the Project. The names of Consultant(s) shall be submitted to the District for approval prior to commencement of Services, as indicated below. The District reserves the right to reject the Bridging Architect’s use of any particular Consultant. Nothing in the foregoing procedure shall create any contractual relationship between the District and any Consultant(s) employed by the Bridging Architect under terms of the Agreement. 1.5.   • ARCHITECT’S RESPONSIBILITIES § 2.1 The Architect shall provide professional services as set forth in this Agreement. The Architect represents that it is properly licensed in the jurisdiction where the Project is located to provide the services required by this Agreement, or shall cause such services to be performed by appropriately licensed design professionals. § 2.2 The Architect shall perform its services consistent with the professional skill and care ordinarily provided by architects practicing in the same or similar locality under the same or similar circumstances. The Architect shall perform its services as expeditiously as is consistent with such professional skill and care and the orderly progress of the Project. § 2.3 The Architect shall identify a representative authorized to act on behalf of the Architect with respect to the Project. § 2.4 Except with the Owner’s knowledge and consent, the Architect shall not engage in any activity, or accept any employment, interest or contribution that would reasonably appear to compromise the Architect’s professional judgment with respect to this Project. § 2.5 The Architect shall maintain the following insurance until termination of this Agreement. If any of the requirements set forth below are in addition to the types and limits the Architect normally maintains, the Owner shall pay the Architect as set forth in Section 11.9. § 2.5.1 Commercial General Liability with policy limits of not less than « » ($ « » ) for each occurrence and « » ($ « » ) in the aggregate for bodily injury and property damage. § 2.5.2 Automobile Liability covering vehicles owned, and non-owned vehicles used, by the Architect with policy limits of not less than « » ($ « » ) per accident for bodily injury, death of any person, and property damage arising out of the ownership, maintenance and use of those motor vehicles, along with any other statutorily required automobile coverage. § 2.5.3 The Architect may achieve the required limits and coverage for Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability through a combination of primary and excess or umbrella liability insurance, provided such primary and excess or umbrella liability insurance policies result in the same or greater coverage as the coverages

  • Contractor Responsibilities A. The Contractor shall comply with the reporting requirements of Agency. All reports shall be in writing and, when applicable, in the format specified by the Agency. All reports shall be supported by the Contractor’s records. B. Contractor shall cooperate with the Agency in establishing rate for reimbursement purposes. C. Contractor shall transfer a client from one category of care or service to another only with the written approval of the Agency. D. If the Contractor obtains services for any part of this contract from another vendor, the Contractor is responsible for the fulfillment of the terms of the contract and shall give written notification of such to the Agency for approval.

  • Client’s Responsibilities The Client’s responsibilities include the following: a. Enrolling. The Client must complete the Informed Consent for Collection and Storage (attached as Schedule 1) The Client must complete or facilitate the Gestational Carrier’s and if applicable, Egg Donor’s completion of the Health History Questionnaire and the Informed Consent to Testing of the Maternal Sample provided by ViaCord. For ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ collected in New York State, where possible, the Child’s biological father should also complete a Health History Questionnaire. Generally, for Newborn Stem Cells to be used in treatment, the healthcare provider will need information about the Gestational Carrier and if applicable, Egg Donor. The Health History Questionnaire(s) provides much of the required information.Complete and accurate information is critical to Release and use of Newborn Stem Cells. If You do not provide a completed Health History Questionnaire(s) from the Gestational Carrier and if applicable, Egg Donor, VPL may be unable to Release the Newborn Stem Cells. In addition, if any information provided in the ViaCord Services Agreement or any of the Health History Questionnaire(s) is incomplete or incorrect, it is the Client’s responsibility to notify ViaCord and correct that information immediately.

  • Responsibilities of Contractor A. The Contractor shall perform all work on the described project as required by the Contract documents. The work to be performed includes the labor and services necessary to produce such replacement, and all materials, supplies, tools, transportation, equipment, and machinery required for replacement. B. This project bid includes all materials, labor and equipment to complete the reconstruction and resurfacing of streets as outlined in the Project Manual for WWREYN - ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ SANITARY SEWER - PHASE 1 dated March 25th, 2021 as outlined in Attachment A.

  • Responsibilities of the Contractor The Contractor shall provide all technical and professional expertise, knowledge, management, and other resources required for accomplishing all aspects of the tasks and associated activities identified in the Scope of Work. In the event that the need arises for the Contractor to perform services beyond those stated in the Scope of Work, the Contractor and the City shall negotiate mutually agreeable terms and compensation for completing the additional services.
