SCP Clause Samples

SCP. With respect to SCP, in the event that the plan or the Plan Sponsor has been a party to an abusive tax avoidance transaction (as defined in section 4.13(2)), SCP is not available to correct any Operational Failure that is directly or indirectly related to the abusive tax avoidance transaction.
SCP. In the case of any correction of an Operational Failure through plan amendment under SCP that is permitted under section 4.05(2) of this revenue procedure, a Plan Sponsor must submit a determination letter application for the plan, including the corrective plan amendment, by the end of the plan’s next on-cycle year, or if earlier, in connection with the plan’s termination. The determination letter application should be mailed to the address provided in the instructions of the applicable Form 5300, 5307 or 5310. As part of the determination letter submission, the cover letter must identify the amendment as a corrective amendment under SCP. In addition, the Plan Sponsor must include in the cover letter to the application: (1) a statement that neither the plan nor the Plan Sponsor has been a party to an abusive tax avoidance transaction (as defined in section 4.13(2) of this revenue procedure); or (2) a brief identification of any abusive tax avoidance transaction to which the plan or the Plan Sponsor has been a party.
SCP. The Secure Copy Protocol (SCP) is almost universally supported on Unix-like operating systems. This protocol is used to securely transfer a file (or a directory containing many files) from a local machine to a remote machine. The scp command line tool implements this protocol and can be used to transfer files between the storage services mentioned above and HPC platforms like ▇▇▇▇▇▇, Cirrus and Cartesius.
