Common use of Screening Requirements Clause in Contracts

Screening Requirements. KDMC shall ensure that all prospective and current Covered Persons are not Ineligible Persons, by implementing the following screening requirements. a. KDMC shall screen all prospective Covered Persons against the Exclusion Lists prior to engaging their services and, as part of the hiring or contracting process, shall require such Covered Persons to disclose whether they are Ineligible Persons. b. KDMC shall screen all Covered Persons against the Exclusion Lists within 90 days after the Effective Date and on a monthly basis thereafter. c. KDMC shall implement a policy requiring all Covered Persons to disclose immediately any debarment, exclusion, suspension, or other event that makes that person an Ineligible Person. Nothing in this Section III.H affects KDMC’s responsibility to refrain from (and liability for) billing Federal health care programs for items or services furnished, ordered, or prescribed by an excluded person. KDMC understands that items or services furnished, ordered, or prescribed by excluded persons are not payable by Federal health care programs and that KDMC may be liable for overpayments and/or criminal, civil, and administrative sanctions for employing or contracting with an excluded person regardless of whether KDMC meets the requirements of Section III.H.

Screening Requirements. KDMC Ensign Group shall ensure that all prospective and current Covered Persons are not Ineligible Persons, by implementing the following screening requirements. a. KDMC ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Group shall screen all prospective Covered Persons against the Exclusion Lists prior to engaging their services and, as part of the hiring or contracting process, shall require such Covered Persons to disclose whether they are Ineligible Persons. b. KDMC ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Group shall screen all Covered Persons against the Exclusion Lists within 90 days after the Effective Date and on a monthly basis thereafter. c. KDMC BPMC shall screen all current Covered Persons against the Exclusion Lists within 90 days after the Effective Date and on a monthly basis thereafter. c. KDMC BPMC shall implement a policy requiring all Covered Persons to disclose immediately any debarment, exclusion, suspension, or other event that makes that person if they become an Ineligible Person. Nothing in this Section III.H III.G affects KDMCBPMC’s responsibility to refrain from (and liability for) billing Federal health care programs and Federal award programs for items or services furnished, ordered, prescribed, or prescribed provided by an excluded personIneligible Persons. KDMC PharMerica shall screen all prospective Covered Persons against the Exclusion Lists prior to engaging their services and, as part of the hiring or contracting process, shall require such Covered Persons to disclose whether they are Ineligible Persons. b. KDMC PharMerica shall screen all Covered Persons against the Exclusion Lists within 90 days after the Effective Date and thereafter shall screen against the LEIE on a monthly basis thereafterand screen against ▇▇▇ on an annual basis. c. KDMC PharMerica shall implement a policy requiring all Covered Persons to disclose immediately any debarment, exclusion, or suspension, or other event that makes that person an Ineligible Person. Nothing in this Section III.H III.G affects KDMCPharMerica’s responsibility to refrain from (and liability for) billing Federal health care programs for items or services furnished, ordered, or prescribed by an excluded person. KDMC LWCI shall screen all Covered Persons against the Exclusion Lists within 90 days after the Effective Date and on a monthly an annual basis thereafter. c. KDMC LWCI shall implement a policy requiring all Covered Persons to disclose immediately any debarment, exclusion, suspension, or other event that makes that person an Ineligible Person.
