Section 10.4.1. Employees, when injured on the job, may elect to use any accumulated sick leave time to 47 receive their normal salary. Payments from the Self-Insured Workers’ Compensation Pool may 48 be turned over to the District. The payments turned over to the District will restore the 1 accumulated leave credits in proportion to the amount of the payment. Sick leave pay shall be 2 integrated with any health and welfare plan, income benefit, or State ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ Temporary 3 Disability Compensation schedule of benefits, so that the sum of the daily sick leave allowance 4 hereunder, and the aforesaid Health and Welfare Plan, accident and sickness income benefit, or 5 State Disability daily benefits, shall not exceed one-hundred percent (100%) of the regular 7 by the employee by reason of any such reduction shall be retained in the employee’s sick leave 8 pay account as part of the employee’s accumulated sick leave pay credits.
