Section 15.7. 37 An employee directed by the District to work in a higher paying classification will be paid at the rate of 38 the higher classification for such work performed. Employees directed by the District to work in a lower 39 paid classification in lieu of working in their regular classification will be paid at their regular rate of 40 pay for such work performed. Regular employees who accept hourly work in addition to their regularly 41 assigned hours of work shall receive their regular wage or the Journey Step for the work to be performed, 42 whichever is higher.
