Common use of Section 16.2.2 Clause in Contracts

Section 16.2.2. 38 If the grievance is not resolved to the employee's satisfaction in accordance with the preceding 39 subsection, the employee shall reduce to writing a statement of the grievance containing the 40 following. 41 42 A. The facts on which the grievance is based; 43 B. A reference to the provisions in this Agreement which have been allegedly violated; and 44 C. The remedy sought. 46 The employee shall submit the written statement of grievance to the immediate supervisor for 47 reconsideration and shall submit a copy to the official in the administration responsible for 48 personnel. The parties will have five (5) working days from submission of the written statement 1 of grievance to resolve it by indicating on the statement of grievance the disposition. If an 2 agreeable disposition is made, all parties to the grievance shall sign it.
