Common use of Section 16.2.5 Clause in Contracts

Section 16.2.5. 2 The seniority of an employee shall not be lost for the following reasons, without limitation: 3 A. Time lost by reason of industrial accident or industrial illness or jury duty; 4 B. Time on leave of absence granted for the purpose of serving in the Armed Forces of 5 the United States; 6 C. Time spent on authorized leaves; except as noted in Article XI, Section 11.7.; or 7 D. Time spent in layoff status, unless layoff exceeds twenty-four (24) months. After 8 twenty-four (24) months seniority will not accrue.
