Section 19.2.2 Clause Samples

Section 19.2.2. 25 Sign Language Interpreters who hold a level three or higher certificate of competence shall receive 26 an additional one dollar fifty cents ($1.50) per hour to their regular hourly wage.
Section 19.2.2. 12 If the grievance is not resolved to the employee's satisfaction in accordance with the preceding 13 subsection, the employee shall reduce to writing a statement of the grievance containing the 14 following: 16 A. The facts on which the grievance is based; 17 B. A reference to the provisions in this Agreement which have been allegedly 18 violated; and 19 C. The remedy sought. 21 The employee shall submit the written statement of grievance to the immediate supervisor for 22 reconsideration and shall submit a copy to the official in the Administration responsible for 23 personnel. The parties will have five (5) workdays from submission of the written statement of 24 grievance to resolve it by indicating on the statement of grievance the disposition. If an 25 agreeable disposition is made, all parties to the grievance shall sign it.
Section 19.2.2. 30 To reimburse employees for the costs of pre-approved, job-related course work at an accredited 31 institution and for related supplies and materials. The District will provide this payment upon 32 completion of the course provided the course work is completed at grade C or above. Any 33 employee receiving financial assistance for a course shall not be eligible for reimbursement for 34 the same course. Employees may be reimbursed for more than one course per year, provided 35 dollars are available and, provided pending applicants who have not taken a course within the 36 year are given priority over those wishing to claim reimbursement for more than one course.
Section 19.2.2. 38 Those individuals in Food Service that receive ASFSA Certification shall receive fifty cents 39 ($0.50) per hour in addition to their regular salary as expressed on Schedule A. The fifty cents 40 ($0.50) per hour for completion of the Food Service programs will continue as long as the 41 individual maintains current Food Service certification. 42 43 Additional wages for completion of a School Nutrition Association (SNA) certification level 44 will apply as follows: 46 • Level 1 SNA certification shall receive fifty cents ($0.50) per hour in addition to their 47 regular salary as expressed on Schedule A. 48 • Level 2 will receive an additional five percent (5.00%) above base pay. 1 • Level 3 will receive an additional seven and one-half percent (7.5%) above base pay.
Section 19.2.2. 32 Those individuals in Food Service that receive ASFSA Certification shall receive fifty cents 33 ($0.50) per hour in addition to their regular salary as expressed on Schedule A. The fifty cents 34 ($0.50) per hour for completion of the Food Service programs will continue as long as the 35 individual maintains current Food Service certification. In addition, Nurses shall receive a wage 36 increase and retroactive pay back to September 1, 1997. 37 38 Section 19.2.3. 39 Employees in the Building Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance, and Mechanics category who 40 have a renewable certificate approved by the District in their area of responsibility shall receive 41 seventy-five ($0.75) cents per hour in addition to their regular salary as expressed on Schedule 42 A. 44 Section 19.3. 45 Employees shall be responsible for tuition costs associated with college credits and for required books 46 and materials.

  • Section 14 Upon timely request, the Department of Administrative Services shall make available at no cost to the Union the latest copy of any SEIU Local 503, OPEU bargaining unit employee statistical and expenditure reports relative to employment and benefits currently produced by the Department of Administrative Services which do not require manual or machine editing to remove confidential data or non-SEIU Local 503, OPEU bargaining unit employee data. Such request must be made in advance of the preparation of the reports. If new and appropriate employee statistical and expenditure reports are produced by the Department of Administrative Services, the Department and the Union may mutually agree in advance to provide such reports at no cost.
