Section 21.4. 37 It is mutually agreed that where extended travel and expense to the employee is involved, the employee shall 38 be reimbursed for reasonable food and lodging expenses. 39
Section 21.4. 22 During the school year, any route which has been increased in sum total by thirty (30) minutes or more 23 for greater than ten (10) consecutive days of work shall be re-posted for bid as a new run.

Section 21.4. USE-BASED EXEMPTION
Section 21.4. Section 2.14 of the Loan Agreement is hereby amended by deleting the same in its entirety and inserting the following in lieu thereof:
Section 21.4. Section 214 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1980, as amended (42 U.S.C. 1436a). Section 214 restricts HUD from making financial assistance available to non- citizen unless they meet one of the categories of eligible immigration status specified in Section 214.
Section 21.4. 14 The right to make reasonable rules and regulations shall be considered acknowledged functions of the 15 District. In making rules and regulations related to personnel policies, procedures and practices, and 16 matters of working conditions, the District shall give due regard and consideration to the rights of the 17 Union and the employees and to the obligations imposed by this Agreement.

28 A. In the 2015-2016 school year, the district shall make available one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars 29 in professional development funds to classified employees. In the 2016-2017 school year, the 30 district shall increase the staff development fund amount to one thousand, two hundred and 31 fifty ($1,250.00) dollars, in the 2017-2018 school year the district shall increase the staff 32 development fund amount to one thousand, five hundred ($1,500.00) dollars. Unused funds 33 shall be carried forward to the following year.
35 B. PSE employees shall use the Professional Development application to utilize the funds. 37 C. A joint committee consisting of PSE and district representatives shall recommend to whom the 38 funds will be awarded and the amount awarded. 39
40 D. The funds may be used for the following: tuition, credit and course fees, applicable travel 41 expenses, lodging and possible substitute cost which PSE members may incur in their 42 continuing education/training efforts.
44 E. Salary to the member will be paid if the training occurs during their regular working hours.
