Section 324. If the Director recommends unpaid leave and the employee declines, the employee then has 28 days to remedy the issue with absenteeism. If the employee is unable to remedy the absenteeism, discipline procedures will begin as outlined in the “disciplinary action” section of the Personnel Policy and section 9 of the current contract.
