Common use of Section 3.5 Clause in Contracts

Section 3.5. 41 As soon as possible within ninety (90) days of an employee's hire date, the Union will be granted not 42 less than thirty (30) minutes of work time to provide such new employee information about its 43 exclusive bargaining representation. Any time over thirty (30) minutes will be unpaid time by the 44 Employer. The scheduling of this time will be coordinated with the new employee's supervisor. 46 No employee may be mandated to attend any time designated for Union information or other 47 presentations by the exclusive bargaining representative.
