Common use of Section 4.1 Clause in Contracts

Section 4.1. 21 Each employee subject to this agreement, who, on the effective date of this agreement, is a member of 22 the Union in good standing, maintain membership in the Union in good standing during the period of 23 this agreement unless membership is revoked through contact with the Union. 25 The district will provide the union reasonable access to new employees of the bargaining unit for the 26 purposes of presenting information about their bargaining unit to the new employee. The presentation 27 may occur during a new employee orientation provided by the district, or at another time mutually 28 agreed to by the district and the union representative.
