Common use of Section 6.3.1 Clause in Contracts

Section 6.3.1. 15 Employees shall be allowed a meal period of at least thirty (30) minutes which commences not 16 less than two (2) hours nor more than five (5) hours from the beginning of the shift. Meal 17 periods shall be paid when the employee is required by the District to remain on duty on the 18 premises or at a prescribed work site, or when meal periods are frequently interrupted to 19 undertake the District’s business and after the employee has given notice to the District that the 20 interruptions have been too frequent.
