Common use of Section 6.8 Clause in Contracts

Section 6.8. 19 In the event of an unusual school closure the District will make every effort to notify each employee to 20 refrain from coming to work. Employees reporting to work shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay 21 at the regular rate in the event of such a closure; provided, however, no employee shall be entitled to any 22 such compensation in the event of actual notification by the District of the closure prior to leaving home 23 for work.
