Section 7.11.1 Clause Samples
Section 7.11.1. On overnight trips, drivers shall be compensated at the appropriate hourly rate for actual time, 14 or a minimum of eight (8) hours, for each day. Meals and lodging shall be provided by the 15 District at approved rates. Unless otherwise indicated on the extra trip posting, lodging shall be 16 defined as a private motel or hotel room.
Section 7.11.1. An employee, who has a shift that extends more than six (6) hours into the 35 second shift or more than two (2) hours into the third shift, will be paid the applicable shift 36 premium, if any, for the hours of work performed in each shift. 37

Section 7.11.1. 34 Extra trips shall be defined as any driving other than regular daily assigned runs. Chartering of 35 extra trips may be an option if the trip is of greater distance than one hundred forty (140) miles 36 one way and is paid by private and/or ASB funds or as mutually agreed. 37
