Section 7.1.3. 27 In the event an employee is absent for reasons which are covered by Industrial Insurance, the 28 District shall pay the employee an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid by 29 the Department of Labor and Industries and the amount the employee would normally earn. A 30 deduction shall be made from the employee’s accumulated illness and injury leave in 31 accordance with the amount paid by the District.
