Common use of Section 7.4 Clause in Contracts

Section 7.4. 19 Employees required to work through their regular lunch periods will be given time to eat at a time agreed 20 upon by the employee and supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego a lunch 21 period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch period, the employee shall be 22 compensated for the foregone lunch period at overtime rates.

Section 7.4. 19 7 Employees required to work through their regular lunch periods will be given time to eat at a time 8 agreed 20 upon by the employee and supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego a 9 lunch 21 period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch period, the employee shall be 22 10 compensated for the foregone lunch period at overtime ratesin accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

In the event the District requires an employee to forego 39 a lunch 21 period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch period, the employee shall 40 be 22 compensated for the foregone lunch period at overtime ratesone and one-half (1½) times the employee's hourly 41 rate or compensatory time equal to one and one-half (1½) times the foregone lunch period.

In the event the District requires an employee to forego 24 a lunch 21 period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch period, the employee shall 25 be 22 compensated for the foregone lunch period at overtime ratesone and one-half (1½) times the employee's hourly 26 rate or compensatory time equal to one and one-half (1½) times the foregone lunch period.
