Section 7.8.2 Clause Samples
Section 7.8.2. 6 All hours worked on the sixth (6th) consecutive day shall be compensated at a rate of one and 7 one-half (1-1/2) times the employee's base rate.
Section 7.8.2. 16 No bargaining unit employee will be required to drive a school bus except that mechanics 17 working on school buses may be required to drive a bus for purposes of testing the 18 equipment. The District will pay the cost of the CDL license endorsement renewals for those 19 employees whose positions require the CDL. The District will pay up to one-hundred ($100.00) 20 dollars for DOT physicals performed by a DOT qualified physician. A list of qualified 21 physicians taking patients will be provided on a yearly basis. 23 The District will pay the cost of the CDL license endorsement for employee's renewals.
Section 7.8.2. The District will reimburse a trip driver the per diem meal rate in accordance with the 23 Washington State Office of Financial Management Section 10.40.50.b which is below: 24 25 OFM 10.40.50.b 26 For non-overnight travel assignments, the following two criteria must be met to receive a meal 27 allowance:
Section 7.8.2. 6 Employees substituting as bus drivers during their regular schedule whose regular rate exceeds 7 the bus driver rate, shall receive their regular rate of pay for bus driving.
Section 7.8.2. 22 The returning employee will not necessarily be assigned to the identical position occupied 23 before the leave of absence. However, the employee shall be reinstated to a position equivalent 24 in duties and salary to that held at the time the request for leave of absence was approved. If 25 the replacement employee has previously established regular employee status said employee 26 shall be subject to all provisions of the agreement.
Section 7.8.2. Upon advanced written approval of the designated administrator, employees may choose to 28 take time worked beyond eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week as compensatory
Section 7.8.2. All hours worked on the sixth (6th) consecutive day in excess of the employee’s normal 14 workweek shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1½) times the employee’s base 15 pay if forty (40) hours are exceeded.
Section 7.8.2. 16 Employees shall be compensated for work performed on days of rest, as specified in Section
17 7.1 herein, as follows:
19 A. All hours worked on the sixth (6th) consecutive day shall be compensated at the rate of 20 one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee’s base pay.
22 B. All hours worked on the seventh (7th) consecutive day shall be compensated at the rate 23 of twice the employee’s base pay.
25 C. Qualification for the overtime provisions relative to the sixth (6th) and seventh (7th) 26 day, specified herein, shall be contingent on the employee working, or being on 27 authorized leave, for all the previous days of the employee’s normal workweek.
29 D. Employees called back on a regular workday or called on the sixth (6th) or seventh 30 (7th) consecutive workday, shall receive no less than one (1) hour’s pay at the 31 appropriate rate. If an employee is called back to deal with a security alarm, such 32 employee shall be entitled to two (2) times their regular hourly rate of pay for all time 33 spent on the call.
Section 7.8.2. 7 Employees working 260 days will be allowed to use vacation or personal leave if they do not 8 work on unscheduled school closure days.
Section 7.8.2. 29 When a Head Secretary or ASB Secretary takes a leave of absence of sixty-one (61) days or 30 more, the Secretaries in that building will have the first opportunity to fill in the vacancy, by 31 seniority, and receive Head Secretary or ASB Secretary compensation during the duration of 32 the leave. If the Secretaries in that building decline, the job will be posted in accordance with 33 Section 1.4(7).
