Section 8.2.1.3 Sample Clauses
Section 8.2.1.3. 2 All employees with more than ten (10) years service shall earn up to four (4) weeks of 3 vacation which shall be credited in proportion to the extent which the work year has 4 been completed.
Section 8.2.1.3. 29 For 260 day employees, vacation during the school year shall be granted as follows: 30 employees shall have the option of taking vacation intermittently throughout the year, 31 when approved in advance by their supervisor.
Section 8.2.1.3. 2 An employee with five (5) years or more of service will earn one (1) hour vacation 3 credit for each seventeen (17) hours worked.
Section 8.2.1.3. 38 For six (6) years of service the employee shall receive fifteen (15) days of paid 39 vacation.
Section 8.2.1.3. 17 In computing the total vacation credit for part-time custodial/maintenance/grounds 18 personnel, part of an hour will be disregarded if less than one-half (½) hour; otherwise it 19 will be counted as a full hour.
Section 8.2.1.3. 18 Vacation schedule shall be at the Employer’s discretion, and seniority shall be used to 19 resolve conflicting vacation requests. A vacation schedule shall be posted for sign ups 20 by April 1. No vacation shall be scheduled two (2) weeks prior to school opening 21 except by prior approval from the immediate supervisor. Section 8.2.1.3. 46 For two hundred sixty (260)- day employees, no more than two (2) consecutive weeks 47 shall be taken during the summer months. This will be on a rotational schedule based on 48 seniority and request and developed and submitted to the Superintendent (or designee) 1 no later than April 15th of each year. In certain cases, this may be waived by the 2 supervisor’s recommendation to the Superintendent. Remaining vacation is to be taken 3 during the course of the school year and may not be accumulated or cashed out. 4
Section 8.2.1.3. 46 For 260 day employees, vacation during the school year shall be granted as follows: 47 custodians shall have the option of taking vacation in one (1) period of up to fifteen 48 consecutive vacation days per year, or taken intermittently throughout the year in 1 amounts under 15 days. Technology and Secretaries will be limited to ten (10) days 2 during the school year.
