Section 8.7.3. 16 The employee will retain accrued sick leave, vested vacation rights, and seniority rights while 17 on leave of absence. However, vacation credits, sick leave, and seniority shall not accrue while 18 the employee is on leave of absence; provided, however, that if such leave is approved for 19 extended illness or injury, seniority shall accrue. 21 Section 8.8. Family Leave (Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 - FMLA) 22 A. Eligibility. To be eligible for FMLA benefits, an employee MUST have worked for at least 23 720 hours over the previous twelve (12) months.
