Section 9.9. District shall publicize within the bargaining unit for five (5) workdays, before posting outside the 7 bargaining unit, the availability of new and open job positions within thirty (30) days after the District 8 has made the decision to maintain the position. A copy of the job posting shall be forwarded to the 9 President of the Association and to the Association representative of the classification concerned 10 within five (5) workdays. During any schedule break, when an opening occurs, a copy of the job 11 posting shall be forwarded to each employee electronically (employees shall provide the District with 12 their home email), unless employees notify the District Office in writing prior to the last day of the 13 school year to have postings mailed to them.
