Section 9c Clause Samples

Section 9c. When paid sick time is available, the employee shall use paid sick time to supplement the entire difference between the employee's regular earnings and short-term disability payments. If the employee chooses, the employee may use paid time instead of receiving short-term disability payments.
Section 9c of the Agreement is amended by adding after the clause "or because Employee resigns from Employee's employment" the following language: "to the extent permitted in Section 9A."
Section 9c. When paid sick time is available, the employee shall use paid sick time to supplement the entire difference between the employee’s regular earnings and short-term disability payments. Employees must apply for State Temporary Disability when the absence is projected to be in excess of seven (7) calendar days. An employee who has exhausted their State Temporary Disability and who has accrued unused paid sick time may utilize such time for a maximum of three (3) months. For FMLA leaves, accruals will continue for a maximum of three (3) months. For non- FMLA leaves, accruals will continue until the end of the month.
