Common use of Secure Employment Clause in Contracts

Secure Employment. The Employer acknowledges the positive impact that secure employment has on employees and the provision of quality services to the Victorian community. The Employer will give preference to ongoing forms of employment over casual and fixed term arrangements wherever possible. Any dispute arising from the use of casuals or fixed term employees in a manner which is inconsistent with the provisions in the Agreement shall be resolved in accordance with clause 27 Resolution of Disputes of this Agreement.
