Common use of Selection of Subcontractors Clause in Contracts

Selection of Subcontractors. In the interest of minimizing the expenditure of funds for the construction of the Project, Contractor agrees to select Subcontractors who are appropriately licensed by the State of California for each trade component of the Project in a manner that fosters competition.
