Common use of Senior Lab Instructor Clause in Contracts

Senior Lab Instructor. A Lab Instructor may apply to be promoted to be a Senior Lab Instructor any time after completing his/her first year of permanent appointment, provided that he/she, on a significant and regular basis, performs, in addition to his/her regular duties as described in clause 25.1.2, most of the duties described in clause 25.1.2.1 and has satisfactorily performed all of such duties in accordance with paragraphs (a) and (b) of clause 25.4.4. Application shall be made to the Department Chair with a copy to the relevant ▇▇▇▇. The bargaining unit Members in the relevant Department shall consider such application and make a recommendation thereon to the relevant ▇▇▇▇ who shall decide whether to grant such application.
