Common use of Seniority Calculation Clause in Contracts

Seniority Calculation. For the purposes of this Agreement, seniority shall be defined as 13 the length of continuous regular service which includes seniority accrued with the former DYS 14 without a break in that service. 15 5.4.1 The calculation of seniority will be accomplished by automatically crediting each 16 employee at the beginning of the calendar year with the number of regular hours they would be 17 scheduled to work during the remainder of the calendar year based on their employment status as a 18 full-time employee.
